Methods & Interventions

Adjustment to Loss & Change:
A process that is unique to each individual, where healing can take various forms: sharing your story, identifying feelings, understanding grief, the stages of loss, and developing self-nurturing techniques are just some of the pathways to healing.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy:
An approach that challenges individuals to change their thinking about an event or situation. By changing our thought processes we can in turn change the way we feel. This approach allows individuals to understand their belief system and to become aware of automatic thoughts in order to rearrange them.

Family Therapy:
A treatment involving family members which seeks to change the unhealthy familial patterns and interactions.
